HalloGREEN Fashion Show
October 29, 2011
After months of preparation, I hosted my third annual HalloGREEN Fashion Show to benefit Florida Eco net at beautiful City Island Park in Daytona Beach. We used all recycled materials like juice pouches, chip bags, newspapers, old plastic bags, etc to create our unique eco-fashion. Despite the continuous bad weather in the morning, the sky cleared up one hour before our show time at noon. All of our volunteer models walked our green carpet and we distributed healthy organic treats to the kids while spreading our go green message.

Super Soapy Saturday
October 22, 2011
Super Soapy Saturday! It was an awesome experience to go first hand in helping to scrap the old soap collected and witnessed how Clean the World successfully help to prevent thousands of bars of soap and bottled amenities from hitting our landfills and precious water systems.
By recycling and sterilizing the collected soap and shampoo products, and then re-distributing them to domestic homeless shelters and people in impoverished countries suffering from diarrheal disease and acute respiratory illness, we can reduce the effects of these deadly diseases by up to 65%! To learn more, please check out their website at www.cleantheworld.org
